Wedding Day Sparkles and Nibbles
Wedding day sparkles and nibbles help make getting ready fun. Erin asked if she and her 7 bridesmaids could get dressed at our house since we live close to the church and we have ample open space perfect for hair and make up.
I was shocked to see the timeline—9am at my house!
What?
Well, guess what!
You really do need the time!
It takes a day to get 7 maids, a bride and a mother of the bride all dolled up for the 5:30pm ceremony!
 Hair & Make Up
Robin and Taylor from The Lex Studio were amazing at creating an in home hair and makeup salon. All of this fuss makes for a very special day leading up to the wedding ceremony. Robin created soft curls and low swept up-do’s for most of the girls. Taylor is a master at airbrushed make up with a natural look that makes you look like you in photographs–just better!Right down to the lashes she applied.
Amazing.
We set out some yummy nibbles for all the ladies to make sure they had something to eat throughout the day. Here are a few things we served to make the day easy and casual. We used a few pieces of crystal and silver to make the day extra special, but kept it easy and uncomplicated. Some of the girls stopped by Starbucks for their special lattes, otherwise not many coffee drinkers.Nibbles for the Ladies

Bake for 30-35 minutes (note-the original recipe says 15-20 minutes, so you can start checking them then, but 30-35 works great for me and gets them nice and crispy)
Mini Swiss Spinach Quiches
Another easy hit. Good protein to help the girls make it through the day. Pillsbury pie crust “sheets” are in a long red box in the refrigerated section. From my pie making buddies…there is no need to do crust from scratch!
Ingredients
Steps
-
1Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 48 mini muffin cups with cooking spray. On lightly floured surface, roll each crust into 12-inch square; cut each square into 24 pieces. Shape into balls; press in muffin cups.

2In 12-inch skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Cook onion, green onions and parsley in butter, stirring occasionally, until tender. Add spinach; cook 2 minutes. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Remove from heat.
-
3In medium bowl, beat eggs and milk with whisk; stir in cheese. Add egg mixture to spinach mixture, add cayenne; stir to combine. Spoon into dough-lined cups. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until set. Remove immediately from pans to cooling racks.
